How can I pay, and what fees will I see?

You can pay by credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Many events also offer Afterpay or Zip, which add a small surcharge. Every price shows its booking fee before you check out.

Payment methods

Choose your Payment method at checkout:

• Credit/Debit Card: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. No surcharge.
• Apple Pay or Google Pay: choose Credit/Debit Card first, and they appear on the payment step. See Can I pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?.
• Afterpay: a 4% surcharge on your order total.
• Zip: a 3.5% surcharge on your order total.

Afterpay and Zip need an account with them, and the organiser decides whether to offer them. See Can I pay with Afterpay or Zip?.

Fees you'll see

• Booking fee: a fee per ticket, set by the organiser. It's shown next to each price, for example "A$35 + A$3 booking fee". Some tickets include it in the price.
• Afterpay or Zip surcharge: added to your order total when you choose that method. You'll see it in Your Order before you pay.

There are no other fees at checkout.

Example

One ticket at A$35 with a A$3 booking fee:

• Card: A$38
• Afterpay: A$38 + A$1.52 surcharge = A$39.52
• Zip: A$38 + A$1.33 surcharge = A$39.33

Notes

• Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment with a code by SMS or in your banking app. See My payment failed or I was charged but got no ticket.
• Changing the name on a ticket or listing it for resale has its own small fee. See How do I change the name on my ticket? and How do I sell or transfer my ticket?.
