How do I change the name on my ticket?

Created by Ticketing Support, Modified on Mon, 26 Oct at 2:55 AM by Ticketing Support

You can change the name on your ticket yourself in My Tickets. A small fee applies, and you'll get a new ticket in the new name.

Change the name

  1. Go to https://events.pulseticketing.com.au and log in with the email you used to buy the ticket.
  2. Click the person icon at the top right, then MY TICKETS.
  3. Find your event and click TICKETS.
  4. Click the settings icon next to the ticket, then Change Name.
  5. Enter the New first name and New last name.
  6. Click CONFIRM.
  7. Pay the name change fee.

Your old ticket is cancelled and a new ticket is issued in the new name. Download the new one and send it to the person who's going. See Where are my tickets and how do I download them?.

Fees

The name change fee is between $2 and $5.50, depending on the ticket price. It covers running the name change feature, and securing and authorising the change.

Name change or resale?

A name change keeps the ticket in your account. You still manage it, and the new ticket holder relies on you to send it to them.

If someone is buying your ticket, or you want the ticket to move into their own account, use resale instead. You can keep the listing private and just send them the link. See How do I sell or transfer my ticket?.

Notes

  • Only the account that bought the ticket can change the name.
  • Some events don't allow name changes. If you don't see Change Name, the organiser has turned it off for that ticket.
  • Once a ticket has been scanned at the event, nothing on it can be changed.
  • If the organiser closes resale, you can usually still change the name.
  • Bring ID that matches the name on the ticket if the event checks ID.
  • Just a spelling mistake? We'll fix typos for free. See I entered the wrong email or name when I bought my tickets.
