How do I hide a ticket tier from the public?

Turn on Hide ticket tier in the tier's advanced settings. The tier won't show on your event page, but buyers with the right coupon code can unlock it.

Hide a tier

  1. Click Events, click your event's name, then click Tickets.
  2. Click the tier's name.
  3. Open Advanced Settings.
  4. Turn on Hide ticket tier.
  5. Click Save.

Let certain people buy a hidden tier

  1. Create a coupon and tick the hidden tier under Select ticket tiers. See How do I create and manage coupon codes?.
  2. Send the code, or the coupon link, to the people you want to buy it.
  3. On your event page, they click BUY TICKETS, choose their session, click Have coupon code?, enter the code and click APPLY. The hidden tier then appears for them to choose.

Good uses for hidden tiers

  • Pre-sales for members or past buyers.
  • VIP or industry tickets.
  • Group bookings.
  • Complimentary tickets for staff, artists and crew.

Notes

  • A coupon can unlock a tier and give a discount at the same time.
  • To keep a tier visible but stop sales, mark it sold out instead.
