How do I edit, reorder or remove a ticket tier?

Open your event's Tickets step and click the tier's name to edit it. Drag tiers to change their order. To delete a tier with no sales, take it off sale and click the delete icon. Once a tier has sales, take it off sale instead of deleting it.

Edit a tier

  1. Click Events, then click your event's name.
  2. Click Tickets.
  3. Click the tier's name.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Click Save.

To change only the price, click the pencil icon next to the price.

Change the order of your tiers

  1. In the Tickets step, find the drag handle on the left of each tier.
  2. Drag the tier up or down to where you want it.

Your new order saves straight away. Buyers see your tiers in this order. Add-ons are reordered the same way in the Add-ons step.

Delete a tier

Only delete a tier or add-on that has no sales.

  1. Click Events, then click your event's name.
  2. Click Tickets, or Add-ons for an add-on.
  3. Turn off the tier's On Sale switch. Its status changes to Off sale.
  4. Click the delete icon that appears to the right of the switch.

The tier is deleted straight away, with no confirmation, and can't be brought back. Check you've picked the right one before you click.

If the tier has sales, you'll see "This ticket tier has sales. Cancel its tickets before deleting it." Most of the time, leaving the tier off sale is the better choice.

Take a tier off sale

If a tier has sales, it can't be deleted. Turn off its On Sale switch in the tier list instead, or turn on Hide ticket tier in its advanced settings. Turn On Sale back on to sell again.

Notes

  • Changing a price after sales: you can change the price at any time. Buyers who already bought keep their tickets at the price they paid. If you want each price to show separately in your reports, create a new tier instead, for example "Early Bird" then "General Admission".
  • Events with several sessions: choose All sessions at the top of the list to change a tier everywhere, or choose one session to see that session's sales. See What are sessions and how do they work?.
