How do I sell or transfer my ticket?

List your ticket for sale in My Tickets. When someone buys it, they get a new ticket in their own account and you get your sale price back on the card you paid with.

It's the fastest safe way to get your money. Many other resale sites only pay sellers after the event. Here you usually get paid 5 to 10 business days after your ticket sells.

This is also the safest way to pass a ticket to a friend, even if they're paying you directly. It moves the ticket into their account.

List your ticket for sale

  1. Go to https://events.pulseticketing.com.au and log in with the email you used to buy the ticket.
  2. Click the person icon at the top right, then MY TICKETS.
  3. Find your event and click TICKETS.
  4. Click the settings icon next to the ticket, then List For Sale.
  5. Under Set your sale price, enter your price. It starts at the ticket's face value (the price before booking fees), and it can't be higher.
  6. Choose who can see it with Visible in public marketplace:
    • On: anyone browsing the resale marketplace can buy it.
    • Off: only people you send your link to can buy it.
  7. Click CONFIRM.
  8. Check the Order Summary, enter your card details and click PAY to pay the service fee.

Your ticket now shows Ticket Resale Enabled in My Tickets, with:

  • Your resale link: click the copy icon to copy it and share it.
  • Resale price: what the buyer pays you.
  • Marketplace visibility: Public, or only people with your link.

Change or stop your listing

  1. In My Tickets, find the ticket and click Edit next to Ticket Resale Enabled.
  2. Change your price or Visible in public marketplace, or untick Enable resale to stop selling.
  3. Click SAVE, or CLOSE to leave it as it is.

You only pay the service fee once. You can turn resale off and on again as often as you like.

Transfer a ticket to a friend

  1. Follow the steps above.
  2. At step 6, turn Visible in public marketplace off.
  3. Send your friend the link.
  4. Your friend opens the link, clicks START PURCHASE, enters the name for the ticket and pays.

The ticket is issued to the email they buy with, in the name they enter. It shows in their own My Tickets.

What happens next

  • Until it sells, your ticket stays valid. You can still use it, and you can stop the sale at any time.
  • When it sells, we let you know. Your ticket is cancelled and disappears from your My Tickets, and the buyer gets a new one in their name.
  • Your money: your sale price goes back to the card you used to buy the ticket, usually within 5 to 10 business days. See When will I get my refund or resale money?.

Fees

  • Service fee: you pay a small fee once, when you first list. It helps run the resale marketplace and authorises the transfer against your card.
  • Booking fee: the buyer pays a booking fee on top of your sale price. You don't pay it.

Notes

  • Only the account that bought the ticket can list it.
  • Only tickets bought online can be resold, because your money goes back to the card you paid with. Complimentary tickets and tickets bought at the door can't be listed.
  • You can't sell above face value.
  • Some events don't allow resale, or close resale before the event. If you don't see List For Sale, you can still change the name on the ticket. See How do I change the name on my ticket?.
  • Bought with Afterpay or Zip? See When will I get my refund or resale money? for how your money comes back.
  • Selling on social media? Share your resale link in your post. It's secure for the buyer, gets them a ticket in their own name, and helps your ticket sell faster.
